Description
|
Day 1: Depart your hotel for a 2 hour drive along the ridges of the Crocket range to the Kinabalu Park. The home to numerous species of interesting flora and fauna which is located 1,600 meters above sea level with a soothing temperature. Upon arrival, follow a guided nature trail to view the flora and fauna. After lunch, a video presentation at Park's Exhibition Hall. Join the Guided Mountain Garden Walk - with its collection of Orchids and Plants. After you check in at your hotel you are free for the rest of the day to do as you please. Ideal for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the spectacular scenery or to explore another nature trail. Dinner and overnight in the Park. Accommodation is at Wildlife Mountain Lodge located 1 km from Mount Kinabalu Park. It has 26 twins rooms with private facilities. Mosquito proofing, heating, hot water, electricity through out and restaurant services available. Good view of Mount Kinabalu and the surrounding scenic countryside. Very quiet and peaceful, gardens and jungle trials available for walking and bird watching.Day 2: After breakfast, depart for Poring Hot Springs at the Southern End of Kinabalu Park. This area has some of the best undisturbed examples of Low land Rain forest on the West coast of Sabah. Spend the day exploring the forest, the canopy plankwalk and if time permits, enjoy the luxury of the Hot Sulfur pools. After lunch, return to Kota Kinabalu.
