Description
|
Tour features Beserah, a quaint fishing village where time-honored methods of salting fish are still used. Cherating is located approx. 1 hr north of Kuantan and Beserah and is also known as a centre for local handicrafts such as batik, wood carving and shell items. Stop at Sungei Karang Beach to view the volcanic rocks on this peculiar beach. Next see the local womenfolk weaving mats, hats, bags and handicraft items out of straw. You will also get to observe a short-tailed macaque, trained in plucking coconuts, go about its usual activity.
